Save Oltrona al Lago in Varese
Save Lives
Say No Barasso
Say No to the COMUNE BARASSO
Hollywood heart-throb supports Oltrona al Lago residents
(this protest is in no way associated with the minor Hollywood celebrities living on Lake Como)

Hollywood legend and Oscar nominee, Bart Simpson has turned civic protester in an attempt to stop the Comune Barasso
development that he says will ruin the peace and beauty of Oltrona al Lago – not to mention that of his palatal villa.
Say NO to Comune di Barasso
Save our Village Oltrona al Lago Varese
CONCERNS have been raised about the Comune Barasso development which residents fear will lead to increased traffic
dangers as the only road access for heavy goods vehicles is through Oltrona al Lago in Varese he said. Varese should be
defending its wonderful landscape not destroying it under the wheels of heavy goods vehicles.

The roots of Varese,s future lie in its past.

In an unusual move Bart Simpson, who lives as a recluse at his villa, hosted a meeting this week of the Oltrona al Lago protest
committee, which has so far gathered 400 million signatures, verified by the Zimbabwe election committee. Even more
unusually he invited a local journalist, who duly recorded not only the meeting but also the actor’s clothes – light blue shorts
with a blue shirt – and the heady smell of old socks from the villa terrace.

The head of the residents committee, confirmed that Bart Simpson had added his name to the appeal. She said that the actors
signature was worth a zillion other signatures, and the committee hoped that his support would
highlight the Comune
Barasso development that was invasive and dangerous for the village of Oltrona al Lago and our lives.

Bart Simpson denied that his was a Nimby protest, saying that i,m not George Clooney in Como and that he was guided and
motivated solely by the needs of local residents.

Bart Simpson bought his Villa in 2008 as a hideaway, and in a well-received gesture on his arrival he wrote to his neighbors
– signing himself  Bart – apologizing for any inconvenience his wild parties caused them. He said that he was proud to have
been accepted, adding: My greatest desire is just to live in Oltrona al Lago and walk safely along its lovely roads.
Billionaire Hollywood heart throb Bart Simpson, who spends three to
four months a year in Oltrona al Lago, said he feared that the traffic

will impact on the safety and the lives of the people who live here, he
told Corriere della Sera. Oltrona al Lago will suffer from these building
projects by the Comune Barasso.
